ERS is actively seeking a Full Stack Software Developers for a Permanent Role in Limerick. Our Client’s team includes industry-leading developers, architects, and designers who use a variety of innovative development methodologies and technologies to achieve breakthrough results and drive innovation.

 

If successful, you will be responsible for new innovative application development and support including estimation, analysis, design, programming, unit/integration testing and code debugging. You will work in a highly collaborative, cross-functional, and agile environment and will assume a key role for various new solutions within with in our Client’s business.

 

The developer will…

  • Design and develop quality code in a timely manner
  • Estimate, and design small increments of work
  • Perform root cause analysis, technology evaluation, and quick prototypes
  • Report status of assigned software development and/or maintenance tasks
    consistently following the specified software development methodology
  • Promote improvements in programming practices such as TDD (test-driven development), continuous integration, and continuous delivery

Prospective candidates will need a high degree of business insight, creativity, decision making skills, a drive for results, the ability to negotiate, the ability to develop peer relationships, a strong technical learning capability, excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills Required:

We require a senior developer with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science (Preferred) or related field and many of the following skills

  • Frontend – Angular JS (or other modern JS MVC frameworks and technologies – React, Vue.js, Redux, Karma, Protractor etc.)
  • Backend API – Java (micro services), Spring Boot, PHP, .NET Core (micro services),
  • Mobile – iOS (Objective-C), Android (Java)
  • Cloud – Pivotal Cloud Foundry (or other cloud technology)
  • Database – Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server (or another RDBMS)
  • Source Control – Git (or another source code control system)

Other skills of interest

  • An understanding of agile software development
  • Microservices development
  • REST/RPC Web API driven development
  • NoSQL technologies (MongoDB, Redis etc.)
  • Node.js, express, npm, yarn
  • DevOps –Docker, Kubernetes
